WELCOME

Epicor Manufacturing Users (EMU) is a non-profit making group covering Europe administered by its members, on behalf of its members. We provide a forum for users of Epicor manufacturing software with the following objectives;

• Advance the effective utilisation of Epicor software on behalf of all users and EMU members, by promoting the interchange of information concerning its usage.
• Provide a forum for mutual education and exchange of ideas and information among members.
• Provide feedback to Epicor on equipment, software and other needs, which may arise on the part of members.

We also run a number of special interest groups (SIGs) which are functional, rather than product-specific. The aim of the SIGs is to focus on particular areas within the software in conjunction with Epicor to discuss best-practise, software development and specific issues or requirements.

For general queries or support, EMU provides group email facilities for its members enabling quick and simple communication to an experienced peer group. For more specific issues, we maintain a database for each product which members can search to locate companies which are using a particular module or range of modules.

Regular conferences (free or subsidised for members) are held, with a common theme of “Users Helping Users”. Besides gaining an insight into the way other companies utilise the software, the conference provides an excellent opportunity for networking. Recent conferences have also included an introduction to new products and the chance to discuss specific issues with Epicor support representatives. The EMU annual general meeting and elections are also conducted at the conferences. Members have the right to vote on motions proposed during the AGM, as well as in the elections.

Our board comprises voluntary members from companies using different software products to ensure that the broadest possible user base is represented. Users of Epicor’s non-manufacturing software (Scala, eBackOffice, Clientele, ERA, Platinum SQL) are represented by the Epicor User’s Group, administered by Keith Hammond.
